Documentary style.
It's a big claim for a wedding photo, but documentary style is almost certainly behind everyone's favourite images, from childhood photos to the most grounding scenes of war. There's something about an unposed, real moment that formal photography can't replicate. Nostalgia can pull you right back into a moment, and that's exactly what I aim to capture.
That said, I’m more than ready to let you pose to your hearts content. It’s the perfect way to convey your inner most feelings and give grandma photos to show off at bingo.
I’m still building this side of my work, having shot one wedding so far, but the approach is the same as everything else I shoot: pay attention, get right into the thick of it, and capture the day as it really happened. If you like what you see below, I'd love for your day to be part of it.

I cover weddings from pre portrait shoots through to wishing I’d leave, with coverage tailored to what your day needs. While most of the day is shot documentary-style, capturing things as they naturally happen, I'll still guide you through the essential group and couple portraits, so you get the best of both: natural storytelling and the shots your family will expect to see.
